Good morning, everybody. Just got a very kind e-mail from Antony Pinsent, President of the Flyfishers’ Club in London, which I thought I’d share with you. You may remember that I recently did a talk about my book project in the Club. This is Mr. Pinsent’s “verdict”:
You gave the Flyfishers’ Club a really fascinating talk in February about the pioneers of the River Lågen. You have done an enormous amount of excellent research to enlighten us on the intrepid Victorians who were lured by the art of angling to this fisherman’s idyll. Those members and their guests who were fortunate enough to hear your talk were very lucky and privileged, and enjoyed it immensely.
